This degree program focuses on wellness of self and others, technical nursing skills across the life span in acute care facilities, long-term care facilities and the community environment, critical care concepts, and professional development.
Upon graduation, the student is awarded an Associate of Science in Nursing and is eligible to take the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX-RN) to become an Associate of Science in Nursing, and subsequently seek employment in the field.
The program is designed to provide educational and clinical experiences leading to employment in beginning positions as Associate of Science in Nursing in hospitals or comparable facilities.
This program is approved through the Florida State Board of Nursing. Our nursing program at American Healthcare Institute is committed to providing high-quality education for students seeking an Associate Degree in Nursing.
